2018 Small Business of the year

Established in 1983, AceTronic manufactures, distributes and services products that plastic manufacturers in Canada, U.S. and Mexico use to make their own products. In the last decade, AceTronic has been scaling its cable manufacturing business, investing in equipment, technology and people. This has attracted large international corporations in the plastics machinery sector that resulted in upwards of $1.5M in sales over the past year with potential for increased growth. To keep up with this growth, the company has invested in a new Enterprise Resource Planning system to improve efficiencies.

AceTronic, an ISO 9001 Certified Facility is also an A2LA Accredited Repair and Calibration Center. It is currently upgrading the lab certification to AS9100 status to develop business growth in the aerospace industry. AceTronic is committed to sustainability and only uses N. American and European manufactured products in its assemblies because of the longevity of the materials. When a product no longer functions, the company encourages customers to allow repairs and repurposing, instead of contributing to landfill. Since becoming CAMSC certified, AceTronic has been a speaker at the B2B event held in Windsor this past June and has been actively networking with OEMs and their Tier 1 suppliers.
