ANM Industries: Coatings is the Future

Among their long list of services, ANM Industries is well known to their clients in the automotive industry throughout southwestern Ontario, for providing electro-deposition painting and powder coating services. ANM’s operating facility, based out of Windsor, boasts 70,000 square feet with ample office space, a warehouse, 2 E-coating , 2 powder-coating lines, and 6 loading docks. One of the e-coating lines has a direct in line acid-pickle bath, which is formulated to remove weld scale and ceramitization from parts. Since its inception in 2002, ANM Industries is a long way from its former, more humble beginnings.

Founded in 2002 by Pat Denomme, a seasoned professional within the metals industry, ANM Industries, now operating with 60 employees, began with a dedicated and resourceful team of 4 in its modest establishment.  Pat recounts his original contracts during his inaugural year in operation, with: Chrome Shield, AG Simpson, and Veltri, as a very positive step forward.  It started with washing, de-chroming, stripping, and washing other rust inhibiting parts along with pre-treating, cleaning and powder coating.

In 2005, an opportunity to expand their facilities and create jobs appeared when a local metal stamping company, and tier 1 supplier to Chrysler, required a coater.  ANM won the contract award and eventually, the gradual need for more staff through the expansion of their services created 56 more jobs over the next seven years.  Additional services such as assembly, parts washing and packaging became an integral part of the business.  With the vast experience and knowledge of our management team, makes ANM Industries a leader in the metal finishing industry.

Pat believes that many connections were made possible through CAMSC’s integrated platforms, including the Diversity Business Marketplace (which allow companies to research each other) and in-person meet and greet events, such as tradeshows, networking receptions and one on one match-makers. “Through this valuable component of networking,” Pat says, “Companies can meet sourcing and procurement executives face to face and talk about opportunities directly.”
