BDC exists to support Canadian entrepreneurs. As part of its strategic plan for the next 5-10 years, BDC intends to play a broader role in shaping a more inclusive, green and prosperous Canadian economy. Its bold aspirations include a set of core missions, among which, the climate and productivity.
BDC is inviting firms offering user experience, creative direction and web design services to submit a proposal to support the deployment of its Climate Action Centre and potentially its Productivity Action Centre. The main purpose of the mandate is to support BDC in creating a high-quality and engaging client experience as well as creative direction and design for Web interaction and interface concepts.
More specifically, BDC considers that the Bidder, to be able to provide quality service, should have senior resources with an important level of skills and knowledge. We are looking for a small team (between 2 and 8) of established experts to complement our existing team by providing state-of-the art approaches in user experience design and artistic direction. The team proposed by the bidder should be able to:
- Carry out discovery work to create value informed by deep understanding
- Apply methodologies that are human-centric, client-centric and user-centric
- Demonstrate a broad strategic view that encompasses an ecosystem perspective
- Design experiences where entrepreneurs feel impressed, enabled and understood
- Translate insights into attractive and memorable digital products
- Understand the specificities of Web interfaces
- Design engaging flows, interfaces and interactions aligned with BDC’s branding guidelines and tone & manner
