Garth Scully, Chair of the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council – CAMSC – is pleased to announce the appointment of Cassandra Dorrington as President of the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council – CAMSC – effective September 15, 2010.
Prior to her appointment with CAMSC Cassandra Dorrington was the President of Vale & Associates Human Resource Management and Consulting Inc., a company specializing in providing Human Resource Management Services and/or consulting advice to a number of public and private clients, nationally and internationally.
A native of Nova Scotia, Cassandra has played an active role in the business community of the Atlantic Provinces and nationally. She currently serves as Vice-Chair National Board of Directors CMA Canada, and Board Member Mount Saint Vincent University Board of Governors; and Treasurer of the Atlantic Provinces Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to her wide range of experience in the business world, Cassandra has been recognized for her community service work by the YWCA who awarded her their Woman of Distinction Award.
A BCom and MBA graduate of Saint Mary’s University, Cassandra also holds the professional designations of CMA – Certified Management Accountant -, CHRP – Certified Human Resource Professional – and CMC – Certified Master Coach.
With twenty-five years of business and consulting experience Cassandra is well positioned to lead CAMSC through its next phase of national development.
