COVID-19 Supports for Women Entrepreneurs

Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub have closely followed the situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and are seized with the urgency of the situation facing businesses across Canada. They are working with all of our community partners and regional hubs to continue to provide resources and information for women entrepreneurs during this critical time. WEKH knows that this crisis is deeply affecting small and medium enterprises as well as entrepreneurs and self-employed women, and they want to continue their efforts to support our businesses.

As you know, today the government has introduced even more measures to support entrepreneurs including 75% wage subsidies and up to $25 billion to be available as interest-free loans. With fast help from our incredible WEKH network, WEKH have compiled a list of these and other COVID-19 resources available to women entrepreneurs including on government relief programs, business opportunities, policy advice from experts, and upcoming webinars. They continue to work with government partners to share information as the situation evolves.
