About the Speaker
Dorian Persaud, Persaud Employment Law
Dorian has taken the path less traveled and that has made all the difference. Prior to practicing employment law, he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree, worked in wealth management and government, and studied theology. His diverse life experience and education have uniquely prepared him to solve the problems of today’s workplace.
Dorian graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005 and worked at a prominent employment law boutique in Toronto before founding Persaud Employment Law. As a business owner, Dorian understands the challenges of managing employees and effort required to build a successful and diverse team.
He is frequently invited to speak at seminars hosted by the Law Society of Ontario and was recently on a panel of experts helping lawyers identify legal issues with respect to workplace investigations. Dorian has written and published a number of articles on employment and human rights law and has served on the Board of Governors for Knox College, University of Toronto.
