Navigating CanadaBuys and registering to bid on federal contracting opportunities

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) buys goods and services on behalf of other federal departments and agencies and Crown corporations. To do this, PSPC  uses SAP Ariba, a web-based tool that allows businesses to view and bid on opportunities. Registering and completing your company profile in advance will save you time and let you focus on preparing your bid when the time comes. This webinar will walk you through the registration process.

CanadaBuys is where you will find federal bid opportunities and related procurement information. This webinar will provide an overview and demonstration of the CanadaBuys website’s key features and functions, including how to:

  • Search for bidding opportunities
  • Subscribe to receive email notifications to be informed about new tender notices and amendments
  • Find additional sources of information for suppliers

Stephane Champagne is a Supply Team Leader with Procurement Assistance Canada (PAC) in the National Capital region. With PAC, Stephane engages with the supplier community to help them to better understand how the federal government buys goods and services in an effort to make it easier for smaller businesses to bid on federal contracting opportunities.
