Ogie Ifoga, Senior Account Manager, BDC
OG is an accomplished banking professional with over 10 years of experience in various roles (Banking Operations, Commercial Banking, Risk Management and Wealth management) across international markets. He is highly skilled in Business Development, Commercial Lending, Credit Analysis and Relationship Management. He has strong leadership abilities and a successful record maintaining profitable portfolios and demonstrating entrepreneurial mindset in professional and personal settings.
In his current role as a Senior Account Manager with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), he works as a growth engineer with Canadian Entrepreneurs of medium and large size businesses in the GTA to help them realize and maintain profitable growth, improve operational efficiencies and expand their organizational capabilities through tailored financing, advisory and capital. Helping clients solve problems is at the core of his work with business owners.
He strongly believes in an inclusive economy and has taken on the role of Women Entrepreneur advocate and ambassador for black entrepreneurship and black owned businesses.
Barkin Sayiner, Vice President of Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc
Barkin is a Vice President of Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc. where he leads the Capital Markets Advisory business for Ontario. Barkin brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, during which he supported the growth of both public & private client companies across a diverse group of industries. Prior to joining Ernst & Young L.P., Barkin held relationship management and senior leadership positions with RBC Royal Bank, BMO Bank of Montreal, and HSBC Bank Canada where he was accountable for over $500 million book of business in commercial, corporate, and international banking transactions. Barkin’s experience includes loan structuring & underwriting, project finance, workouts, leverage finance and risk management.
