Benjamin Ebella , Trade Commissioner, TCS Engagement Division, Global Affairs Canada

Benjamin joined the TCS Engagement Division in 2020 after six years in international education, managing grants and contributions programs for Canadian post-secondary institutions to increase their international footprint. Benjamin’s passion for public relations and project management has allowed him to manage numerous projects in various federal departments including the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada. Benjamin continues to pursue his passion within the TCS Engagement Division as the External Communications Lead, helping business owners from diverse backgrounds benefit from trade.

Jon Joel , Senior Manager with World Trade Centre Toronto.

Jon works with the Trade Accelerator Program, supporting SME’s that want to grow their business internationally. Previously, Jon worked for a small manufacturing firm and was responsible for market entry into Mexico, China, Thailand, Malaysia, and Korea. In addition to market entry experience, Jon also specialized in international sales and channel partner management. Jon’s clients included many Fortune 500 companies and other businesses in industries such as
