About partnership with CAMSC
Like our parent company, Adecco, we are on a journey to build upon our commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. https://www.lhh.com/us/en/diversity-and-inclusion
We are building a culture where talent matters, not labels, and where everyone has a chance to be part of the world of work. We celebrate the countless ideas and experiences that shape us as individuals and as an organization. Our vision and culture are inspired by our employees who are inclusive and proud of who they are, and we value the unique contributions they bring to work every day.
As the workforce solutions leader, we believe our culture of inclusion enables us to best serve the needs of our clients and positively impact the lives of our associates and students.
In Canada specifically, we are on a journey to build diverse partnerships in the communities in which we serve, and ensure that we are also providing our colleagues and associates with access to programs, employee resource groups, training and learning resources, and that we are walking the talk when it comes to our commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion.
As part of this commitment to ED&I, we felt it was important to align ourselves with an organization like CAMSC, that specializes in Supplier Diversity. We are always speaking with our customers about what is important to them. Something that has come up as a strong theme has been access to Diverse Spend Categories, as well as Access to different diverse communities of talent. We had researched a number of organizations that specialize in Supplier Diversity and felt that CAMSC was the most aligned to where we are looking to develop—which is for the aboriginal and minority communities.
What do you want to get out of the CAMSC Corporate Membership?
There are many benefits that we see with aligning with an organization like CAMSC. We felt that it was important to ensure that the organization we selected would provide step-by-step guidance on building out our supplier diversity program, and provide access for our colleagues to a different network of like-minded corporate membership and supplier membership, and include stretch projects through participation as a volunteer on CAMSC committees. We have taken the liberty of summarizing the key things that we would like to get out of our membership with CAMSC.
- Build an LHH Supplier Diversity Program in Canada.
- We will be engaging all of our Canadian spend to see how we can leverage diverse suppliers in all parts of our business.
- Provide our Customers with Tier 2 Diversity Spend— and Educate our Team Members on what exactly this means.
- Learn from Diverse Suppliers as it has been proven over and over that we can drive innovation with their diverse perspectives and counsel.
- Public Display of Commitment toward Diverse Suppliers for the Indigenous and Minority Communities.
- Support for our RFP Responses by leveraging the use of the Logo to demonstrate our commitment.
- Networking & Strengthening Relationships with C-Suite Community that are also Corporate Members.
