Each year South Asian Centre OF Windsor (SACWin) confers this award as a mark of recognition to a South Asian BUSINESS leader. Instituted in 2012, this Award is the first of its kind in Southwestern Ontario and is now in its third year.
Each year SACWin gives this coveted award to honour and recognise excellence in business and commend outstanding performance by that one outstanding individual in the business community in Windsor. He/she is chosen as a role model for our times. The exclusivity of this award makes it stand out in a sea of clones. The pre-eminence of the selection panel and the very selection process itself, year upon year, has ensured that SACWin’s Businessman of the Year distinction remains the most coveted by the South Asian business community. Last year’s recipient was Guebax Bhullar of Asian Imports, Ltd.
For 2017 the award goes to Chintan Virani, business owner of Virani Architects and Associates.
