Ontario minister of Economic Development and Trade, Sandra Pupatello, will open and be the keynote breakfast speaker at the sixth annual Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council—-CAMSC— Diversity Procurement Fair, to be held on March 31st 2010, at the Metro Convention Centre in Toronto.
The annual CAMSC Diversity Procurement Fair, which includes a trade show and workshops on procurement opportunities in various economic sectors, is a forum for bringing together buyers from major corporations, with aboriginal and minority suppliers of all sizes from across Canada. According to CAMSC president Orrin Benn, “Corporations want to reap the innovation and cost efficient benefits which an inclusive supply chain brings. The Diversity Procurement Fair allows corporate buyers to engage with new and diverse suppliers they may not normally reach, at the Trade Show.”
