June 28: Fintech Partnership Webinar: Open Banking in Germany & Ontario (9:00-10:30am EST)

Description: Jointly organized by the Government of Ontario and the Berlin Finance Initiative, the “Fintech Partnership Webinar: Open Banking in Germany & Ontario, Canada” will bring together some of Ontario’s and Germany’s most innovative organizations and companies to discuss opportunities in the field of Open Banking in Germany and Ontario. June 28: Industrial Transformation Opportunities for Industry 4.0 Suppliers in Mexico Webinar

The Government of Ontario, in partnership with Global Affairs Canada, invites you to participate in a free webinar that will highlight the opportunities in the Advanced Manufacturing sector in Mexico, with an emphasis on 4.0 Industry. Technological advances and new challenges in the supply chain created by Covid 19 and geopolitical factors are redefining manufacturing processes, production facilities, distribution and logistics. Companies in Mexico need to accelerate the adoption of Industry 4.0 methodologies and solutions to remain competitive. Therefore, Mexico will become an increasingly attractive market for Ontario suppliers of advanced manufacturing technologies. Attendees will learn: How companies integrate Industry 4.0 in Mexico. July 18-22: Ontario pavilion at Farmborough International Airshow

Join the Government of Ontario export business mission to the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), the world’s leading biennial event for the aviation, aerospace, space, defence and related industries. In 2018, the event featured more than 1,500 exhibitors and attracted more than 80,000 industry professionals from around 100 countries, including Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Exhibiting in the Ontario Pavilion at FIA will provide 14 Ontario companies the opportunity to meet with potential customers as well as sales and distribution partners from around the world. The mission program includes pre-mission webinars; 1:1 export advice and consultation; turn-key kiosk/pod; company listing on event website and in the Ontario SourceFromOntario website; and 3 exhibitor entrance passes. August 22-30: Ontario Virtual Clean Energy export business mission to Colombia

Colombia has a plan to diversify its energy matrix including establishing a hydrogen roadmap, and it is adjusting its regulatory framework to successfully reach its energy transition goals. These changes require solutions for renewable energy projects, distributed energy, and smart grids. Delivered in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada in Colombia, the mission will include: 1:1 export advice and consultation; a sector/market-specific briefing to provide updates on the current Colombian and Clean Energy Trends and Opportunities; a customized B2B program to connect you with relevant key Colombian public and private energy companies. September 6-8: Green Expo 2022 with optional outreach program to Monterrey

Green Expo is a premier event for cutting-edge, sustainable solute ions and technologies. The show provides an opportunity to network and showcase products and services to key decision makers from the entire industrial value chain in Mexico and Latin America. Green Expo also provides a platform that facilitates partnerships, creation of alliances and sharing of best practices between local and international businesses. Participation in Green Expo also provides access to AquaTech and InterSolar. The mission program will include pre-mission webinar,1:1 export advice and consultation, networking opportunities, market and sector opportunity briefings, show presence in an Ontario-branded pavilion, as well as hand-selected B2B meetings during both shows. Optional Outreach Program to Monterrey Ontario companies will have the opportunity to participate in a business matchmaking program in Monterrey immediately following the business mission to Green Expo 2022. September 18-23: Ontario auto-tech export business mission to California (hybrid – apply by July 8)

The Governments of Canada, Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia, are recruiting Canada’s most innovative auto-tech companies to participate in an auto-tech mission to California in September 2022.

The program will deliver value through unique, curated B2B access to potential U.S. investors, customers and strategic partners, introductions to sector experts and the auto-tech ecosystem in the San Francisco-Bay Area and Los Angeles, optional participation in ITS World Congress America in Los Angeles. Priority will be given to those companies with solutions in areas identified by California automotive/auto-tech companies, including AI, robotics, energy/battery technologies, LIDAR, software and data analytics, cybersecurity, CASE, OEM sensor chips and sensor cameras, predictive maintenance, and biometrics for people inside a vehicle. Sept. 21-22: Ontario virtual aerospace export business mission to Vermont’s 2022 Manufacturing Summit – apply before Sept. 7

The Government of Ontario is accepting expressions of interest for an Ontario virtual aerospace export business mission to the 2021 Manufacturing Summit in Vermont, which will be held virtually on September 21 and 22. Vermont’s 2022 Manufacturing Summit (https://themanufacturingsummit.com) is a by-invitation only virtual supply chain event for advanced manufacturing that will feature over 20 U.S. Prime Contractors such as Boeing and GE Aviation, as well as Government entities including the U.S. Army and the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Government Contracting (GSA). The Ontario virtual Aerospace Mission to Vermont’s 2022 Manufacturing Summit program would be open to up 20 Ontario teh companies with demonstrated experience serving the aerospace and defense sectors and that meet this criteria. Delivered in collaboration with the Ontario Aerospace Council, the Ontario Trade and Investment Office in New York, and the Canadian Consulate in Boston, the mission program and key deliverables will include one attendee pass to Vermont’s 2022 Manufacturing Summit, attendance to keynote, seminars, 1 B2B profile for B2B meetings with OEMs, SME suppliers, partners and workforce, webinar on US Aerospace procurement opportunities with an overview on International Traffic in Arms rules, VC panel, session with US aerospace firms that have set asides procurement agreements with Canada, and 1:1 export advice and consultation. September 20-23, 2022: Ontario Edtech export business mission to DIDAC India – Bengaluru, India

The Ontario government is arranging an in-person export business mission to the DIDAC India 2022 trade show and conference for Ontario edtech companies and academic institutes aiming to sell products and services to India. The India Didactics Association organizes the show, which is supported by the British Education Suppliers Association, DIDACTA (Germany), Worlddidac Association, the United Nations, Government of the United Kingdom, Government of Victoria-Australia, Education Finland, British Education Suppliers Association and Edugrowth (National Edtech Association of Australia). Now in its 12th edition, DIDAC India sees 250 exhibitors from 19 countries and 15,000 education leaders. The trade show attracts international visitors from 34 countries as well as domestic visitors. The Indian edtech market is the #2 e-learning market after the U.S. and is poised to reach $30 billion in size in the next 10 years. The mission program will offer: 1:1 export advice and consultation; market intelligence; turn-key exhibit space within the Ontario pavilion; a company listing in trade show directories; access to conference sessions and potential presenting opportunities; and a curated B2B matchmaking program, site visits and networking opportunities in Bengaluru and New Delhi. September 27-28: Ontario pavilion at International Security Expo (ISE) & International Cyber Expo (ICE)

The International Security Expo (ISE) is the market-leading event where stakeholders from government, infrastructure and industry come together to discover new ideas and source technology to create safer nations. The event attracts 14,000 visitors and more than 400 exhibitors from the entire security community from key sectors including communications, energy, utilities, finance, government, health, and transport. This event is co-located with the International Cyber Expo (ICE), which attracts key buyers sourcing for solutions to improve the security and resilience of businesses and critical infrastructure. Exhibiting in ISE/ICE will give 12 Ontario-based companies the opportunity to meet with potential customers as well as sales and distribution partners from around the world and an opportunity to build business partnerships in the UK and throughout Europe. Sept. 28-30: Expression of Interest for Ontario wireless export business mission to MWC Las Vegas

Ontario M2M, wireless, and telecommunications companies interested in an Ontario export business mission to MWC Las Vegas 2022 (in person) are encouraged to contact mauricio.ospina@ontario.ca for details. This trade show and conference reconvenes this year in Las Vegas to represent the North American wireless communications industry – from carriers and equipment manufacturers to mobile app developers and content creators. The Ontario program would feature an Ontario pavilion for 8 companies, exhibitor passes, industry briefing, databases of potential buyers, and a B2B program (tbc). October 10-14: Ontario ICT export business mission to GITEX 2022: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade in partnership with the Canadian Consulate in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is organizing Ontario ICT Export Business mission to GITEX 2022, The biggest ICT show in the Middle East, North Africa & South Asia, GITEX is the 3rd largest technology event in the world. The exhibition attracts over 4,400 exhibitors and 147,000 professionals from 100 countries. The mission registration fee per company is $2900 includes Exhibiting and B2Bs program. October 16–22: ICT export business mission to FUTURECOM 2022 in Brazil

FUTURECOM is the largest digital transformation event in Latin America, providing the only B2B platform in Latin America focused on technology and telecommunications ecosystem. The event attracts over 25,000 people, 250 exhibitors and over 40 countries. It focuses in Telecom, ICT, disruptive technologies and hyper connectivity. Brazil is Latin America`s largest telecom and ICT market and is one of the world’s largest emerging ICT markets with annual expenditures of over US$120 billion, representing more than 46 per cent of the total ICT market in Latin America. November 2-4: Ontario Mining Supply Mission to Australia (IMARC)         

The International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) is one of the largest and most influential mining events in Australia. The IMARC program covers all aspects of the mining supply chain, from exploration, to investment, production to optimization through to new technologies and global opportunities, alongside discussions on health and safety, renewable energy, critical minerals, and sustainability. IMARC 2022 will be an in-person event, welcoming international attendees from more than 100 countries. Ontario will host a physical pavilion at IMARC 2022, and provide turnkey exhibiting tool to mission members. A side mission to Perth and program with leading mine companies including a mine visit will be planned as well.  November 7-11: Ontario ICT export business mission to Africa Com 2022

The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade in partnership with the Canadian High Commission Trade Office in Johannesburg, South Africa, will be organizing an Ontario ICT mission to Africa Com 2022, the largest and most influential Africa focused technology and ICT event in the region and serves as a meeting place for those driving Africa’s digital transformation. It is made up of 500 brands who showcase their solutions across 3 days in November and attracts approximately 13,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors from over 140 countries. November 16-19, 2022: Ontario Urban Infrastructure export business mission to Municipalika – Bengaluru, India

The Ontario government is organizing an in-person export business mission for Ontario companies involved in engineering, construction and smart city technologies to Municipalika 2022. The event will offer companies an opportunity to promote their products and services, establish partnerships and target business opportunities in India. A fixture of the infrastructure sector for more than 15 years, Municipalika is an international platform that discusses strategies to create smart, sustainable communities and identify solutions to urban challenges. The most recent iteration of the trade show hosted about 2,000 attendees, international country pavilions, state pavilions, and municipal corporations, in addition to 12,000-plus urban professionals and 170-plus solution providers exhibiting their technologies. The Indian government plans to spend C$1.8 trillion between 2019 to 2025 under the National Infrastructure Pipeline to build a sustainably developed country. The mission package will include: 1:1 export advice and consultation; market intelligence; exhibitor space in the Canada pavilion; a company listing in trade show directories; access to conference sessions; and a curated B2B matchmaking program, site visits and networking opportunities in Bengaluru and an additional city. Station Fintech Accelerator is a 4-month program designed to help you accelerate your growth by introducing you to targeted connections in large corporations within the Finance Montreal network, the financial cluster of Quebec. You will have the opportunity to connect with major financial institutions, such as, CIBC, TD, Desjardins, National Bank and more, in addition to insurance companies, investors and service providers. The program will also give you the tools to plan your fundraising, the blueprint to help you secure and execute corporate pilots/POCs and the know-how behind scaling your B2B marketing and enterprise sales.
