CAMSC attended the Supplier Advisory Committee meeting on January 16 and shared our perspective and expertise as it relates to the challenges of Aboriginal and minority owned businesses in doing business with the federal government. The meeting was well attended by ITAC, WEConnect and similar advocacy organizations. While this was a good sharing of information between all parties, it set the stage for ongoing consultation on government procurement initiatives, policies and processes. The next meeting is scheduled for early June.
Please contact CAMSC should you wish to share comments and or challenges regarding federal government procurement as we prepare for the next meeting with the Supplier Advisory Committee.
Thank you.
